Hi, I’m Maree

I’ve never done a pilgrimage. So, in 2027, I’ve decided to walk in the footsteps of Mary Magdalene, apostle to the apostles, the female disciple featured in the Last Supper and the woman Jesus truly loved.

We will be drawing on insights from Gnostic scriptures believed to be written by her.

We will visit sacred sites that have witnessed millennia of prayers, rituals, and human expressions in Southern France and the Pyrenees.

We will celebrate the courage of a woman who advocated there need be no interface between a man or woman and their god(s) – at a time when organised religion called that heresay.

We will come face to soul with the Cathars, a mystic medieval group, who believed the same Jesus and Mary Magdalene did. This pilgrimage will awaken our own divine feminine in a gentle remembering and ask it and us to soften. This pilgrimage is more than a tour; it’s an inner quest, promising a fusion of historical intrigue and profound spiritual growth.
